Abington Festival of Running is a fast, flat course through the picturesque South Cambridgeshire villages of Great & Little Abington starting and finishing at Granta Park. Inspired by a local school fundraising initiative, the event started in 2008 and all profits still go to support Great Abington Primary School.

Every entry in the Abington Festival of Running helps fund vital support for Great Abington Primary School. The event has already raised significant funds for local education. We simply couldn't put these events on without brilliant volunteers.
We need information tent administrators, baggage tent coordinators, goody bag distributors, route marshals, water station marshals, and start & finish line marshals.
Granta Park provides the perfect venue for our event, offering excellent facilities and a beautiful setting for the start and finish of all our races.
Cambridge Sport have been supporting our running events, providing expertise in race timing and event management to ensure a professional experience.
Our event is supported by local businesses and community groups who help make the Abington Festival of Running a success year after year.
